This constitution angered the Texan residents because they weren't represented in this constitution like they didn't let them vote. -
Fredonian Rebellion
This specific rebellion upset the older settlers because the Mexican government gave the Edward brothers, Haden and Benjamin land grants. They forced people to settle in there grant even if they couldn't afford it. So Mexico had to take the grant back. -
Mier Y Teran Report
The purpose of the Mier Y Teran Report was to study or observe the natural resources and the indians. The thing that prompted this report was the flood of immigrants from the United States to Texas. -
Guerrero Decree
Outlawing slavery would act as a check (affect) to American immigrants because Americans had slaves (black people) and they couldn't bring those slaves (black people) to Texas. -
Law of April 6, 1830
This law was designed to stop the flood of immigration from the United States to Texas, which came a the Mier Y Teran report. The law forbid the introduction of slaves to Mexico. This law was not too heavily enforced in Texas because they needed the immigrants. -
SFA Goes to Mexico City
He went to Mexico City because to persuade the government to repeal the Law of April 6, 1830, and to promise important reforms in Texas local government. -

The convention of 1832 was held San Felipe de Austin after the Anahuac Disturbances, the battle of Velasco, and the Turtle Bayou Resolution. -
Convention of 1833
It was important because it was the day that Santa Anna took over Mexico. They also presented their ideas to Santa Anna as well. -
