The GMD and the CCP wanted to unified China, in 1922 they formed the First United Front, both parties also agreed that China need to be free of the foreign imperialist powers -
Jiang Jieshi
Was a general leader of the nationalist forces, he had military training before World War 1 in Japan, Jian studied in Moscow in 1923 also Jian was not a communist, he break the alliance with the communists, he determined to act on the First of the Three Principles and attempt to unify China by putting the end of the warlords power. -
Purification Movement
The GMD carried out similar attacks in other cities, purification means the massacre of thousands of communists, trade unions and peasants leaders, the CCP was very nearly crushed by the end of 1927, the CCP decided that if they want to survive they have to go to the mountains of Jiangsi, the GMD pursued them determined to destroy the communists also the civil war start -
White Terror
The general Jian Jieshi expulse all communists form the GMD´S, was a violent suppression of Communist Party of China many communist were killed. -
Division with the CCP
In february of 1930 the Comintern official Li Lisian issued an instruction to all the CCP members to attack cities in Jiangxi and Hunan, all the attacks failed and the communist army was forced into retreat
