It was one of the most important massacres against the communists during Jiang's purification process. -

At this time, both parties launch their plan as allies to defeat the warlords. In just two years they almost achieve their goal completely. They take Beijing and declare Nainjing as the official capital. -
Communist expelled from GMD.
This event marked the beginning of the conversion of the GMD party. It was the moment in which Jiang begins to order attacks against communists since he think that they contaminate China and its people. This was the beginning of a massacre. -
Jiang has control of Beijing.
This event meant one of the most important events that marked the beginning of the civil war. The GMD party was totally in control over China, at this moment all the members of the CCP decided to flee to Jianshi in order to survive.
