    A war between France and Britain over the control of land and the fur trade. Also known as the Seven Years War. The British win and they gain control of the Mississippi River and land east of the Mississippi River. Also parts of Canada.

    It ends the French and Indian War. Also gives Britain control of all territory, east of the Mississippi River.

  • Proclamation of 1763

    It was an imaginery line drawn by British officials that kept the colonist from settling west of the Appalacian moutains. This law angered many colonist

    All sugar molasses coming into the colonieswould be taxed.

    Printed items requierd to have stamp saying tax had been paid.
