In 1582 L'angelier got a hold of a small amount of copies of Catherine's book because of his royal Privileges. This edition had poems about resistance and empowerment at this time. This book was published by Nicolas Courtois, a plublisherof the University of Poitiers. -
Death
Both Catherine des Roches and her mother Madeleine des Roches died the same exact day. The reasons for their death on the same exact day was an epidemic that hit during this time, which affected them, The empidemic was called cholera and it killed alot of people.
