Desert One Debacle
Desert one was an rescue operation to bring back 52 American citizens being held hostage in Iran. They were being held hostage from 1979 and wernet released to 1981 due to the diplomatic crisis in Iran. After the Iranin revolution the hostages were released. Terorists hated Carter and only released hostages after he was out of office.
