Caroline was seeded number one at the Australian Open (junior girls’ singles) but lost in the final to eighth-seeded Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova from Russia. In doubles, she was seeded second with her partner, Anna Tatishvili, but they were knocked out from the tournament by the French-Italian, eighth-seeded pair, Alizé Cornet and Corinna Dentoni in the semifinals. -
Memphis WTA Tour
Caroline reached her first WTA Tour quarterfinal, knocking out Kristina Brandi and Ashley Harkleroad, before bowing to Swedish, third-seeded Sofia Arvidsson. -
Junior Wimbledon
She was given a wild card to the qualifying draw in the Wimbledon, where sadly, she was beaten in the first round by Miho Saeki from Japan. However, she went on and Slovak Magdaléna Rybáriková in the finals. -

Caroline Wozniacki beat Gisela Dulko and 21st seed Alona Bondarenko on her way to the Round of 16, where she lost to the eventual finalist and fourth seeded Ana Ivanovic. -

She was seeded 30th; making this the first Grand Slam she was seeded. Wozniacki, once again, lost to number 2 seed, Ana Ivanovic, the eventual champion. -
Wimbledon
She reached the third round but lost to second seeded Jelena Jankovic. -
Summer Olympics Beijing
Wozniacki went up to the third round, beating number 12 seed, Daniela Hantuchova in the previous round but was beaten by number two seed Elena Dementieva and eventual gold-medalist. -

Caroline was seeded 21st. She defeated number 14 seed Victoria Azarenka in the third round but lost to second seeded and eventual runner-up, Jelena Jankovic. -
WTA Newcomer of the Year
She ended the year ranked 12th in singles and also won the WTA Newcomer of the Year for 2008. -
Indian Wells
Caroline took part in the Indian Wells tournament where she lost in the quarterfinals to Vera Zvonareva, the eventual champion of the tournament. -
French Open
At the French Open, she was seeded tenth but was beaten by Sorana Cîrstea in the third round. The two partnered in doubles but lost in the first round. -
Swedish Open
On Wozniacki's 19th birthday, she lost the final of the Swedish Open to Maria Jose Martinez. -
Wimbledon
She was seeded ninth but lost in the fourth round to Sabine Lisicki. -
US Open
Caroline was seeded ninth at the US Open where she became the first Danish woman to reach a Grand Slam final but she lost to Kim Clijsters there who had just come back from retiring in 2007, due to being a future mother. -
Australian Open
Caroline Wozniacki was seeded fourth at the Australian Open but lost to Li Na in the fourth round. -
French Open
She was seeded third in the French Open and made her best result by going on until the fourth round without dropping a set. She defeated Flavia Pennetta in the Round of 16 before bowing to Francesca Schiavone, the eventual champion in the quarterfinals. Then in doubles, she partnered Daniela Hantuchova who were set to face the Williams' sisters in the second round. Unfortunately, the pair were forced to withdraw before the match, due to Hantuchova's right shoulder injury. -
US Open
Wozniacki was the top seed in the 2010 US Open, due to the withdrawal of world number one, Serena Williams. As to this, Caroline reached her semifinal appearance, but was beaten by Vera Zvonareva. According to this, Caroline was the one out of two women, the other being Venus Williams, to have reached at least the fourth round of every Grand Slam in 2010.
