Originally the Tiger was going to be part of the panzer line but Hitler had its name changed to Tiger. The Tiger was Designed to destroy the T-34. Due to its heavy armored style it required large amounts of materials and labour to construct, due to the war time environment Germany was only able to construct a mere 1347 Tigers. The tiger was also very imobile due to its heavy design, so it was very weak against the environment itself
