King Tawhiao died on the 26th of August 1894 of old age it was a very sad time for all of the maori people. -
Victoria bridge got built.
They built the Victoria Bridge so that people could cross the river safely and many years later Cambridge and Leamington combined as one whole town but Leamington is still called Leamington. -

Rowing championships
This event was held at Lake Karapiro 2010 from the 31st of October to the 7th of November New Zealand won 10 medals (3 of them were gold). Overall New Zealand came third Great Britain came 2nd and Germany came 1st
