    Battles of Lexington and Concord
    The British led by General Thomas Gage were planning to go to Concord to seize the military assets there. However Paul Revere and William Dawes were able to warn all of the colonists before the Britsh were able to get there. The milita was able to fend off and then drive back the British with a force of about 700 men. This was a great victory for the milita.
  • Fort Ticonderoga

    Fort Ticonderoga
    This was a Britsh fort that was captured American Rebels. It happened just 3 weeks after the armed conflict at Lexington and Concord. The fort was under the command of Capt. William De la Place.
  • Bunker (Breed's Hill)

    Maj. General Thomas Gage was still held up in Boston with his troops as well as many ships. He even had reinforcements arrive, all while the militiamen are surrounding the city with troops from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
