    The Coordinating Council of Broward (CCB) produces The Broward Benchmarks to help establish a basis for assessing the progress of Broward County in addressing its most urgent issues.   • 1st Childrens' Youth Summit

    The first Children’s Summit gathered hundreds of leaders, community members, and parents together to identify benchmarks, prioritize funding streams, and develop a framework for strategic action to address the needs of Broward County children.

    The Plan is meant to act as a framework to guide funding and service delivery planning for children’s services throughout Broward County.     Co-convened by the CSC and the Children’s Services Board, nearly 600 participants who came together to assess progress made over the last 5 years on behalf of the children of Broward County. The updated 2006 Children’s Strategic Plan was unveiled and offered insight into the key areas of focus such as: Juvenile Crime and Delinquency, Abuse and Neglect, Behavioral Health, School Readiness & Early Literacy, Children’s Health Care, Youth Employment, Transitional Independent Living,
  • Results Based Accountability (RBA)

    Results Based Accountability (RBA)
    The Results Based Accountability (RBA) framework, developed by Mark Friedman, was introduced. RBA is a disciplined approach to collectively take action to improve the lives of children, families, and the community. Using data from the community and service providers, RBA is ameans to improve the well being of whole populations and the well-being of client populations served by agencies and systems of care.

    Collective Impact
    Collective Impact is the commitment of a group of actors from different sectors to a common agenda for solving a complex social problem.   • Broward Youth Summit

    Broward Youth Summit
    Held at the Broward County Convention Center, over 1,000 child advocates, students and parents gathered to celebrate the progress made in meeting the benchmarks set out in the Broward Children’s Strategic Plan.     Partnership Agreements Signed
