soldiers stationed in the colonies to protect the colonist during

Quartering Act
Description-
-The Act forced civilians to provide British soldiers with food, water, and shelter. Reason-
- The colonist wanted to protest because they were being taxed to for soldiers and now they also had to provide shelter to them. -
