Many people did not like her in the town. This factor caused her to be a constant for a straight 20 years! Her own brother told that she had been conversing with the Devil. She was a common enemy among the women too becuase she ran two taverns that ran late into the night playing forbidden games of shovel board and flirting with many taken men. -

During her trial many things happened that were put to her disadvantage. The three infamous teenage girls acted as though she was controlling their every move. When she glanced upon a board on the wall of the courtroom it suddenly flew over the wall. And even her own words were put against her when someone else contridicted them. -
Found Guilty
The day she was guilty was the same the Puritan society miraculously rediscovered a document stating it was perfectly ok to execute a witch. So of course she was schedued to be hanged. -

Bridget Bishop was the first out of 19 believed-to-be-witches that were wrongly accused. -
