my birth is a rite of passage. when I was born I was given the role of being a daughter, a sister and a part of the new world when I was born I was given relationships with my parents, my brother and my family members. I was influenced by this event because it was the beginning of my life. -
the gates open to hell (started kindergarten)
when i started kindergarten i was introduced to my first social institution i was around all these other kids who i didnt know and i was starting to learn new things.when i started kindergarten i was also given many relationship oppertunities and lots of oppertunities to make new freinds. -
demon child was born (Aarons Birth)
Aaron's birth was a rite of passage. when Aaron was born I was given the role of being the big sister, which was also a new relationship opportunity,this was also a transition because I was no longer able to get all of my parents' attention and I wasn't the youngest anymore with Aaron's birth also came more stress for my parents. -
Got my first Cellphone
when i got my first cellphone i was fo-llowing the social norm of everyone else in my class having cellphone and how if i had a cellphone i was cool. having a cellphone also strengthened my relationships with some of my friends because i was now able to talk to my friends outside of school. getting my first cellphone influenced me because it gave me access to so much information and so many ways to talk to my friends and family -

Its all down hill from here (Highschool)
when I started high school, I was introduced to a new social institution which gave me more freedom but also had a harder workload. starting high school was also a transition because i was transitioning from elementary school with less freedom and less workload to high school with a higher work load and more freedom, when i started high school I was given an opportunity to have new relationships and learn more about myself. -
Grandpa's Death
when my grandpa died it really changed alot in my life and in my family not only did I lose a relationship but it shifted my relationships with almost every one of my close relatives. it definitely was a transition because my grandma had nobody to take care of her anymore so I had to start spending every weekend at my grandmas to help her. this influenced me because i was very close to my grandfather and losing him was very hard for me. -
Older Brother Moves away to school
when my older brother moved away it was hard for me because i no longer got to see my brother everyday and i didnt get to talk to him as much we really disconnected the longer he lived away and it really affected our relationship. this influenced me because it felt like I didn't have anyone who really understood me at home anymore i also lost a role model -
Joined The Youth Advisory Board
when I joined the youth advisory board there were so many different doors opened for me and so many different opportunities to build relationships and the youth advisory board was also a social institution as i gave me the opportunity to network with different youth and to really make a difference in my community. join yab was also a transition for me because it helped me realize how much I really care and how much i don't want to be looked over and how much i want to be heard. -

First Job
when i got my first job i was introduced to my first workplace environment i had the role of being responsible and i had the role of making sure all my orders were filled and all my work was done the workplace environment also counted as a social institution because there were my co workers. i was influenced by this because i finally was responsible and i was getting money that was mine and it was finally something that wasn't any of my parents -
Freedom!(Got My Drivers license)
when i got my drivers license it was a huge transition because I no longer had to always rely on my parents to take me places i had freedom to go and do thing on my own. it was also cool because i thought i looked cool driving and was following the social norm of being cool and driving. this influenced me because i was able to go more places and have more opportunities and mature.
