Life was poor in my hometown. My parents died and the Irish Potato hit Ireland and I would soon starve. -
Arrived in America
The boat travel was long but was excited to be in America. However I had very little skills and forced to find a bad job. -
Got a job as a servant
New job as a servant to a man who owns land near Boston -
Traveled west
Decided to travel west to earn a fortune. Finally became tired of being a butler and dreamed of the lush western land. -
Struck Gold
Finally found gold in California. An elderly man fought me for it but was able to fight him long enought to run away with it. -
Settled down
After all my traveling I finally decided to settle down. I made a good amount of money off of the gold I struck. It was just enough to make a house in Oregon and to start living off the land.
