Fluffy was planted.
Meteorologist- 66º F, NNW 6 mph wind, No clouds, damp ground
Entomologist- No bugs yet, very clean
Anthropologist- Peaceful, looked like he was sleeping. Slight blood on mouth, no injuries other than that. No exposed organs or bones. -
Day 2
Meteorologist- 73º F, WNW 11 mph Wind, No clouds, ground slightly moist (probably dew)
Entomologist- Blow flies around body, inside rectum, one ant sighted on body.
Anthropologist- Body (10.5 in Length), No bones visible. Blood around mouth has gone, smells awful. -
Day 3
Meteorologist- 75º F, NW 0 mph wind, No clouds, ground slightly moist
Entomologist- Blow flies, gnats, and ants around body, 1-1.5 in Hole in abdomen being eaten by ants.
Anthropologist- 1 in x 1.5 in hole in abdomen, no guts visible outside of body yet. Body still mostly intact, no bones protruding. -
Day 4
Meteorologist- 81º F, ESE 6 mph wind, no clouds, dry ground
Entomologist- Maggots ranging from 0.7 cm to 1.6 cm in length in abdomen, several blow flies and ants around body.
Anthropologist- Lower jaw exposed, hollowed out middle section from throat to abdomen. Pelvic bone can be seen. Decent patch of maggots, mouth region is unidentifiable. -
Day 7
Meteorologist- 75º F, S 17 MPH wind, Overcast, wet ground.
Entomologist- Bugs
Anthropologist- Squirrel is extremely flat and largely decomposed. Most meat is gone, bones easily visible once feet or torso is lifted up. Fur still intact, however squirrel appears to be a husk of his former self. -
Day 8
Meteorologist- 86º F, S 14 MPH wind, no clouds, dry ground
Entymologist- Only one maggot spotted within the body, no other insects.
Anthropologist- Only fur and bones are left. Body can be opened and all bones can be seen. Spine is mostly intact, upper vertebrae are detached. Skull is split in two pieces, roughly in half. -
Day 9
Meteorologist- 84º F, S 16 MPH wind, no clouds, dry ground
Entymologist- There is now a colony of ants within the body.
Anthropologist- - Only fur and bones are left. Body can be opened and all bones can be seen. Spine is mostly intact, upper vertebrae are detached. Skull is split in two pieces, roughly in half. -
Day 10
Meteorologist- 73º F, N 10 MPH Wind, Overcast, moist ground
Anthropologist- All bones are clearly visible once the top fur is lifted up. Bottom (right side) of animal is eaten, insides are black. Fur is still intact on top of the body and only the head has begun to fully decompose.
