Freshman All-American
He was entered in the 75th anniversary freshman All-American group of 1982. He did so by turning around Auburn and having a great year with 1,200 rushing yards and a handful of touchdowns. -
1984 sugar bowl MVP
After losing 7-0 at half Bo Jackson led his team to a sugar bowl victory. The team finshed with 301 rushing yards and Bo being most of that. -
1985 won the most importan college award. The Hiesman
After an amazing year with 1,700 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns, Bo won the Heisman Trophy. -
1985 UPI player of the year
•Winning the UPI you have to be the best player because the coaches vote to see who is the UPI college player of the year. Bo won this award. -
1986 NFL draft
Bo Jackson was the number 1 overall pick in the 1986 NFL draft. He was considered to be the best player in the draft. He did not want to play for the team that was going to draft him (Buccaneers). Instead waited for the MLB draft. -
1986 MLB draft
After leaving the national football league, Bo had his eyes on another sport. He entered the 1987 MLB draft and was drafted by the Kansas City Royals. -
1987 NFL draft
Bo was drafted 4th round by Al Davis and the Raiders. He allowed Bo Jackson to play half the year with full pay and for him to play baseball. -
1989 All-Star
Bo Jackson was named to the All-Star game and won the All-Star MVP. -
1989 and 1990 Pro bowl
The same year Bo Jackson won the MVP for the All-Star game he was also elected to the NFL pro bowl. He was officially the only person to be an All-Star in two different sports -
Jim Thorpe Legacy
In 1992 Bo Jackson received the Jim Thorpe Legacy award. -
College HOF
After retiring from both sports Bo Jackson was conducted into the college HOF. If he played more years in the pros he would have been in the NFL HOF. -
His Injury
Bo Jackson was in a play off game against the Bengals. One play was going to alter his future. His got a severe hip injury and only returned to baseball for a few years after that.
