    Today, Rosa went to swim practice for the first time. At her first swim practice, the swim coach let go of her hands to soon and she went under water for a brief second. In Erickson's first stage, Trust vs. Mistrust. The crisis is the reliability Rosa has trusted with others (trust) and the betrayal of trust when Rosa is let down by others who breaks that commitment.(mistrust)

    Rosa first time using the potty
    Today, Rosa used the potty for the first time. When Rosa used the potty she made a mistake and peed on the floor. In Erikson's second stage, Autonomy vs. shame/doubt, the crisis is Rosa having freedom to use the potty by herself (Autonomy) and the shame that she feels from peeing on the floor, believing she could do it herself the first time.

    Today, Rosa sat down to think about her religious preference. In Erickson's fifth stage, Identity vs. role confusion, Rosa is trying to decided if she should follow her own beliefs, Christianity (identity) and worrying if she would be letting her family down, by not following their Jewish customs. ( role confusion)

    Today, Rosa has began dating her first boyfriend, and no longer fear being alone. In Erickson's sixth stage, Intimacy vs. Isolation, The crisis is between Rosa becoming romantically involved with someone (Intimacy) and fearing living in this world alone. (Isolation)
