Charles Darwin is known for the creation of the Evolution Theory. This theory is the idea that humans and animals evolved over time. This is significant because it takes away from the idea that humanity was created from God and that we are in his image. The idea that we evolved was developed over time and through research over fossils and other creatures. This idea is dismissed by religious organizations and is controversial to this day. -
