ADAM CLAYTON POWELL
Adam Clayton Powell protested in a bus line because they didn't hire black men. he also led a boycott against that bus station -
JACKIE ROBINSON
Jackie was on a bus near Waco, Texas and was instructed to move to the back of the bus by a white man. he refused and had to go to court for his crime. -
IRENE MORGAN
Irene was riding a bus to Baltimore from Virginia and she refused to give up her seat on a crowded bus to a white man. she was arrested and sent to jail. -
ROSA PARKS
Rosa is probably the most famous of these incidents. she was on a bus and when a white man told her to move she didn't and she was arrested.
