Education
Thurgood Marshall attended and graduated Baltimore's colored high and training school. (Fredrick Douglass high school). After he attended Lincoln University a black college n Pennsylvania. -
Early life
Thurgood married Vivian "Buster" Burey in 1929, and they remained married until her death in 1955. Then shortly after he married Cecilia Suyat. The couple had two sons Thurgood jr. and John Marshall. His parents names are Norma Africa Marshall and William Marshall. -
Jobs
Around 1934, Marshall began a job at the Baltimore branch of the National Association for the Advancement of color people (NAACP). 2 years later Marshall moved to New York to work full-time as a legal counsel. Over decades he won many cases to strike down forms racism. -
Contributes to the black community
Marshall's twenty-fourth year he voted to uphold racial affirmative which were in every case. Marshall traveled through the united states representing all clients(African Americans). -

- John F. Kennedy appointed Marshall for the 2nd circuit court of appeals in 1961.

- Marshall retired in 1991 the Clarence Thomas became the 2nd black Supreme Court justice.

President Johnson nominated him to the Supreme Court. He was one of the first African American Associate Justice of the Supreme Court. -

Marshall overcame so many personal things when he was nominated as the first black associate of the Supreme Court. There was so much anger about the support he had for the civil rights desegregation about the school system. -
Death date
Marshall death was caused by a congestive heart failure on January 24, 1993. -

Marshall's contributions influence me in today's life is he worked hard to get whits and blacks in the same school. He did great things so i won't have to go through racial things.
