Brown v. Board of Education
Brown wanted his daughter to go to an all white school because it was closer , so he went against the Board of Education in supreme Court and won.(The case lasted from 1952-1954.) -

Rosa Parks, a black women, wouldn't move for a white man on the bus and was arrested. -
Bus Boycott
The Bus Boycott was an act to get bus companies to stop enforcing the Jim Crow Laws, so all African-Americans stopped using buses for a year and the bus companies finally stopped enforcing the the Jim Crow Laws.(1955-1956) -

Ole Miss was rioted because african-americans enrolled at Ole Miss after intergration was set in and 100 militairy troops were sent to protect the african america students. -
