First NBA championship

Apr 13, 1957

Bill Russell in his first NBA championship against the St. Louis Hawks. They won in seven games. In this seventh game they went into two overtimes. In the end Bill Russell and his Team the Boston Celtics won 125 to 123.

Second NBA championship

Apr 9, 1959

Bill Russell and the BOston Celtics won this series in four games. They were playing Minneapolis Lakers. In this final game of the series the Celtics won by five 118 to 113. The only other close game in this series was the first one.

Third NBA championship

Apr 9, 1960

In Bill Russells third championship the series went to seven games. It was a hard fought series but the Boston Celtics came out on top. In the final game the Celtics won by 19. They were playing the St. Louis Hawks.

Fourth NBA championship

Apr 11, 1961

The Boston Celtics played the St. Louis Hawks. They won in five games. Only losing by four in the game that they lost. This is Bill Russells fourth NBA championship and his third against the Hawks.

Fifth NBA championship

Apr 18, 1962

Boston Celtics won a great game seven against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Celtics won game seven in overtime by only three points.

Sixth NBA championship

Apr 24, 1963

In this series the Boston Celtics won in six games. They played the Los Angeles Lakers. They beat the Lakers two years in a row one in seven games and this one in six games.

Seventh NBA championship

Apr 26, 1964

In this series the Boston Celtics won in five games. They played the San Francisco Warriors. In the final game they won by five. They lost game three in San Fran.

Eighth NBA championship

Apr 25, 1965

Bill Russell and the Boston Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers in five games. Three of the four games they won was by double digits and the won that wasn't they won by six. The one game they lost was away at the Lakers and they lost by double digits.

Ninth NBA championship

Apr 28, 1966

The Boston Celtics won this Championship in seven games. They played the Los Angeles Lakers. All of these games were close and most likely went down to the wire to find out who was going to win.

Tenth NBA championship

May 2, 1968

This is Bill Russell's second to last NBA championship. They went to six games and they were all relatively close. In this championship game the Boston Celtics played the Los Angeles Celtics.

Final NBA championship

May 5, 1969

This is Bill Russell's last NBA championship his ELEVENTH! This was a hard fought championship it went to the seventh game. They played the Los Angeles Lakers. All of Bill Russell's championship were with the Boston Celtics.
