Gives people the right to a lwayer, to an impartial jury, to know who your accusers are, and to know waht charges and evidence against you. -
7th Amendment
Talks about civil claims which must be tried before a jury and that claims and issues which could be heard by a judge alone. -
8th Amendment
Gives people the choice to stay in jail or remain free by paying bail. Protects people against excessive bail and fines. -
9th Amendment
James Madison’s attempt to ensure that the Bill of Rights was not seen as granting to the people of the United States only the specific rights it addressed -
10th Amendment
This amendment protects the powers of the staes and the people in the states.
