Destiny's Child is formed
Original members Kelly Rowland, Beyonce Knowles, LaTavia Roberson, and LeToya Luckett were paired in a music competition by judges to form the group, Girl's Tyme (1990). While the group broke up, members Kelly Rowland, Beyoncé Knowles, Michelle Williams formed Destiny's Child in 1996. The band became one of the most successful trios in music history. -
