Childhood Tendencies
I created a time line between the ages when she was 2-18 in which she is still considered a child, she would habitually miss school and create fake illnesses to gain attention from parents and other guardians despite no apparent illnesses. She would also not allow wounds to heal and would purposefully reopen old wounds, she was also accused of "Doctor Hopping" which is when a client goes to different doctors and switches them often to avoid suspicion. -
College Education
She attended Grantham college in Lincolnshire, although just barely due to poor attendance, and trained as a nurse. Thoughout her entire training she had terrible behavior issues. She was even suspected of smearing feces on the walls at a nursing home she was working at. However due to poor attendance she failed her nursing examinations. She was able to obtain a position at Grantham and Kesteven Hospital in Lincolnshire in 1991 as a State Enrolled Nurse she was assigned to the children's ward -
Beginning of Nursing Carrer
In 1991 sometime in February before the murders she was instated as a nurse at Grantham and Kesteven hospital in Lincolnshire as a state enrolled nurse -
Murder Spree Begins
Murdered 7 month old Liam Taylor after he was admitted to her ward for a mild chest infection. -
Liam Taylors death
Liam Taylor suffered heart attack and was taken off of life support by parents decision. -
Another Victim
Timothy Hardwick 11 years old had cerebral palsy and was admitted after having an epileptic seizure, was murdered. -
3rd victim
Kayley Desmond 1 years old admitted again for chest infection, Allitt attempted murder, doctors noticed a needle hole under arm with a air bubble after she was sent to hospital for cardiac arrest. -
Survior
Another child was admitted to the hospital this time for bronchitis. After having been nearly comatose his blood was checked and he was found to have a high level of insulin, he was switched to a different hospital and miraculously survived. -
Another survior
Paul Crampton (5 months old) was admitted for chest infection, Allitt attempted murder with three separate occasions of insulin overdoes that same day before he was finally transferred. -
Another Surviour
Bradly Gibson was admitted for phemonia and suffered two cardiac arrests because of Allitt's insulin over before he was also transferred and also recovered. -
Yik Hung Chan
Yik Hung was two years old and was admitted to Allitt's ward after he fell down at home, he suffered an oxygen denaturation attack before being transferred and he made a recovery -

Becky Phillips aged two months old admitted for gastroenteritis, she was administered with insulin overdoes and died 2 days later -
Deja Vu
Katie Phillips (Becky's Twin) was admitted at two months old as a precaution following her sisters death, she was resuscitated twice following her unexplained apnec episodes (Insulin and K overdoses), she survived but has permanent brain damage, partial paralysis, partial blindness, and the parents even asked Allitt to be her godmother because of "exceptional care". -
Claire Peck
At 15 months old Claire was admitted following an asthma attack, soon after being put in Allitt's care she had a cardiac arrest and was resuscitated, she died after being alone with Alitt and suffering a second heart attack. -
Court ruling
After Claire's death nursing staff got worried of all the sudden cardiac arrests and the police were called in. After finding out she was the only one alone with all the kids and had access to the drugs it was clear what had happened. She was charged 4 counts of murder, 11 counts of attempted murder and 11 counts of causing grievous bodily harm and was sentenced to 13 continuous life sentences. This is including a 30 year minimum sentence, one of the highest ever given to any woman.
