  • World War 1

    June 28 1919
    1919 was the year the first World War ended. WW1 lasted four years and involved many nations. The war ended at exactly 11 am on the eleventh month. Germany signed an agreement to surrender against Germany and France.
  • Adolf Hitler Gets Arrested

    In Germany, Nazi leader Adolf Hitler was sent to prison for upto five years for leading the Nazis unsuccessful “Beer Hall Putsch” in the German state of Bavaria.
  • The Great Depression

    The Great Depression was a financial disaster that after many people around the world. The people working down wall street in the US lost absolutely everything. Many lost jobs and unemployment rates rose dramatically and banks were also down.
  • The Empire State Building

    The Empire State Building started getting built in 1930 and it took only a year for the building to be first opened in 1931 the first of may. It took only one week to get the frameworks of 4 and half storey tall.
  • Alcatraz

    The Alcatraz is a prison that was a prison in California, America. The place held some of the dangerous men in america between the time of 1934 to 1963.
  • Shrine of Rememberence

    The Shrine of Remembrance is a community gathering that is held in Melbourne, Australia for all the lost lives in the the ever World War.
  • The Nanking Massacre

    In the space of 6 weeks, Imperial Japanese Army forces murdered thousands of people. Including both soldiers and civilians in the Chinese city of Nanking.
  • Night of Broken Glass

    Nazi parties rally and proceed to beat jewish people, they burn Jewish businesses and arrest them. the Nazi also broke over 4 million dollars worth of windows and this is the reason its called the "night of Broken Glass".
  • Black friday bushfire

    The fires spread across areas of Victoria due to the strong winds, causing a lot of damage. An area of almost two million hectares was burned across the state of victoria, with over 70 people losing their life. Majority towns were destroyed in the fires. A stupid amount of animals were killed including sheep and horses were killed by the "Black Friday Bushfire" an estimation of animals killed was upto thousands.
  • Germans invasion lead to WW2

    The leader of Germany Adolf Hitler, invaded Poland. The German (Nazi) attacked as a defence fight. O September the 3, Britain and France declared war on Germany as they was not convinced it was a defensive action. Germany taking the first shot on poland means this lead to WW2
