Meaning that all citizens within this republic and constitution can vote, elect members to their parlaiment It had a president that appointed a chancellor and cabinet members. Many were suspicious of this government. It ended when Hitler gained control.

    History Learning The Treaty of Versailles was a peace offering after world war 1 ended in 1918. The treaty was signed on june 28th 1919 after several months of negotiating. This treaty is important because it set a foundation of winner earnings and certain steps to be followed after losing a war. Germany had to follow these steps that included the following: Give up their lands of Alsace-Lorraine (France gained) Eupen and Malmedy (Belgium gained) And they gived up many more of their land to other countries.

When it crashed many people become bankrupt since they invested their money into stocks. Ssince the banks invested their large amount of money on their clients stock they were forced to shut down. This led to the decline of consumer desire spending. Since they had no money they couldn't buy luxury goods, forcing business owners to reduce wages. Which means no money in hands of workers.

    Nuremberg laws The Nazi group created a set of laws, being that all jews cannot marry or have sexual relationtions with anyone who is German or has related blood. It was stated that if you have 3 or more grandparents that were jewish you are classified as a jew. This is inportant because this is the beginning of seperating jews and the German people in order for Hitler to succeed in his plants to end the jew race and restore a greater Germany.

    History Kristallnacht was a devastating Incident. It was the beginning of the hollocaust. Nazis burned down synogogues, Damaged Jewish homes, And killed nearly 100 jews in just 2 days. In the "Night of the broken glass" or the aftermath of the Kristallnacht 30,000 jews were arrested and thrown into the harsh concentration camps. This is important because Hitler thought the problem of jermany was having jews. So his solution to restore the greater Germany is by ending the race of judiasm.

This way Germany and its military wasn't at a disadvantage and the soviets had a pretty decent army.

    Invasion of Poland In 1939 September 1st Germany invaded Poland. The Polish army lost in a very short battle, just a few weeks long. Germany used overwhelming force using more than 2,000 tanks and 1,000 planes to break through polash defenses to attack warsaw in a huge attack. Warsaw surrendered to germany on September 27th 1939. Then Britain and France declared war on germany on polands borders.

    Mussolini Dictatorship Benito Mussolini was an Italian Politician, journalist. He's important because he gained dictatorship. But initially it was small power just gaining support from working class and industrial bosses. Mussolini never wanted to share power with any liberals that were within the government. Mussolini and the facist groups introduced the Acerbo Law, it changed voting. If one party got 25% they could hold up to 66% of seats in the parlaiment.
