A day later she arrived at camp. Lina was stuck living with a grouchy old lady who demanded rent every five second. They were just relieved to get off a moving train.

Lina and her 10 year old brother venture out of the cart they are being held in to find her father. After searching about 11 carts Lina finally found her dad and got to her some promising words.

Along the way they met a young girl named Ona. Ona had a newly born baby. The soviets took her after she had just given birth. Unfortuantly the baby had to die today.

All of the people who arrrived to the camp were sent the office to sign some papers that said they would have to pay a tax and live here for 25 years. No one signed and they were imprisined for the rest of the day until they were sent to work

A few weeks later Ona was sticking uo for what she believed in, and fighting the soviets. Sadly Ona didn't have a weapon on her and the soviets shot her in the head.

On this very day Lina and her mother and brother were taken to a different camp but this one colder than ever. They were forced to build there own huts and survive through harsh winters

Linas birthday was a celebration all across camp. She go a new pencil and a a pack of papers to draw on. She also recieved her very first kiss from a young boy named Andrias.

On this very tragic day Linas mother passed away from sickness. Unfortantly her father had been rumored to be dead a few days earlier. Now both her parents are gone.
