  • Barrier of blue mountains crossed

    In 1813 the Barrier of the blue mountains was crossed. This means that the settlers thought there were Chinese people living on the other side of the blue mountains so they built a road over the blue mountains and that is the crossing of the blue mountains.
  • First voyage around Australia

    Matthew Flinders was the fist man to take a voyage around Australia in 1803. This is one amazing event.
  • Western Australia

    western Australia was formed on 1829. People had interests and started moving over there for living.
  • South Australia formed

    South Australia was formed in 1836. Many people interested and went to go live there.
  • The myall creek massacre

    The myall creek massacre started June 10, 1838 when a group of white settlers murdered 28 men, women and children. The were tried but found not guilty but retried found guilty and hanged.
  • Gold Rushes

    the gold rushes occurred around 1851-1861. There were gold rushes in Ballarat, Bendigo, Batherst and many more in Victoria.
  • Eureka stockade

    The Eureka stockade started on December 3, 1854 and ended on December 3, 1854. This is one of our significant events today.
  • Convict transportation ended

    In 1868 convict transportation ended.
