    The Congress passed the first Neutrality Act in August 31, 1935 to stop or prohibition the export of “arm, ammunition, and implements of war” from the United States to foreign nations at war and requiring arms manufactures in the United State to apply for an export license.

    The Rome-Berlin Axis
    A Coalition formed between Italy, Germany, and Japan in 1936. The agreement linked the countries to take over the allied forces. The agreement between these three countries didn’t last because the allied forces did everything they could to stop the attack for World Domination.

    On September 1st, 1939, Germany invaded Poland with strong force. The Polish Army was defeated within 4 weeks of the brutal invasion. Germany invaded Poland with more than 2,000 tanks, and 1,000 military planes. In the beginning of October, 1939, after the invasion of Poland was successful, Germany had acquired their once lost land: West Prussia, Poznan, Upper Silesia, and the former Free City of Danzig.

    On May 10, 1940, the Nazis had launched their attack on Western Europe. The Nazis attacked Belgium, Holland, and Luxembourg. Germany had superior airpower and an extremely powerful military that could invade most countries without effort. On June 4th, 1940, a crucial evacuation of allied soldiers from Dunkirk on the Belgian Coast took place saving more than 338,000 allied soldiers from being captured by the Nazis.
