This was the first battles of American Revolution. The British were looking for Sam and John Adams. The militia knew the British were coming due to Paul Revere letting all of Concord know. They were fighting over weapons cache. -
Battle of Bunkerhill
The battle of Bunker Hill took place in 1775. William Prescott led the troops of Bunker Hill. The British attacked 3 times and on the third time, forcing the Americans to retreat. The Americans didn't really have a high death count. The British had over 1000+ casualties.
