Beethoven's birth
Ludwig Von Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany to mother Maria and father Johann Von Beethoven who was a court musician himself. Johann was an alcoholic and was known to be abusive to his son Ludwig. But Ludwig has said that it was because of his father that he was so good at music. (Beethoven pg.11). -

Beethoven's first published peice
When Beethoven was only 13 he published his first piece "9 variations in C minor in piano". Now this was not a master piece like his later work but for a boy of only 13 this proved that Beethoven had a big future ahead. (Encyclopedia of World Biography pg 114). -
Beethoven becomes court musician
In 1784 Beethoven was only 14 years old and was already passing his fathers greatest achievement by becoming a court musician. This was big accomplishment especially for a 14 year old because this took years of practice just to become a court musician. (Beethoven 12-19) -

On the 7th of April in 1804 Beethoven created his 3rd Symphony "Erorica". Beethoven's 3rd Symphony was an amazing piece of work and was Beethoven's way of admiring French General Napoleon Bonaparte. (Famous Composers for Young People pg.59) -
