    This campaign was the longest military campaign of WWII.In this war the germans were using U-boats , Warships and Aircraft against the Royal Canadian Navy and the Royal Navies along with the allied merchants shipping, The Convoys that were being delivered from North America were being protected by Canadian and British forces. The outcome of this battle was a Victory after the Allied forces destroyed quantities of german forces, It is known as the longest and most complex battle in history.

    The Liberation of Netherlands is A very successful battle for Canadians since there were not many casualties during the process of freeing Netherland from Germanies hands. The german forces surrendered pretty quickly without resisting for long periods of time, As for the Dutch, they have written "Thank you Canada" on their roof tops as apreciation as well as the fact that until today Canada receives Tulip flowers from Netherlands as an undying gratitude.

    The Battle of Dunkirk was a major battle between the Allies and Germany on Western Front . This battle was the defense and evacuation of the British and Allied foces from Europe. There was so much pressure by the Germans so when it got to the worst condition, it was time to think about a way to rescue and evacuate back to britain. Luckily, all of the allied forces, including Canadian troops, were rescued, about 330,000 were saved from devastation.

When Britains condition was getting worse they requested aid from Canadian forces and so ,canadians sent forces to support britain from incoming attacks.When Britain got rid of the weight of hitlars attacks they retaliated and started to bomb german territories. Without Canada's support britain would have been gone.

    The battle of Hong Kong was one of the first battles of WWII. The forces of the japanese empire invade British Hong Kong after facing a very strong resistance from the defending canadian , british and indian troops. In less than a week things got out of control and the were forced to retreat and in two weeks time it was impossible to keep their position in Hong Kong. There were many casualties , it was not a good event for the canadians, since there were many Canadian POW.

    This was an Allied attack during WWII on the german occupied port of dieppe, the objective was to seize a major port for a small period of time to prove that it was possible and to gather intelligence, but unforunately the objectives were not successfully met.Sooner or later the allies decided to retreat.This battle was disastrous for canadians, almost 1000 men were killed and about 2000 were taken as prisiners of war.

    This was the name of allied operations in and all around the surroundings of italy.It joined the Allied forces headquarters, which was responsible for Allied land forces in the meditrrenean theatre and as well as the fact that they planned the invasion of sicily until germany eventually surrendered. An estimate of 60,000 casulties from Allied forces and 50,000 of the Nazis casualties.

    This day is known as the Normandy Landing. On this day, the efforts of the Western Allied forces is put to the test when they are all trying to free Europe from the hands of Germany or also known as Nazi during WWII. Canadas role in D-Day started off by landing on Juno beach with around 14,000 troops not, including the Royal Canadian Ariforce, which oftenly attacked main targets. The victory was a great success, as it led to the freeing of Europe.
