The battle of Britain was it aerial battle between the Germans and the British. The battle took place over British air and it resulted in a bridge victory but at the cost of many airplanes and many pilots lives. It also caused the bridge to send out younger pilots without much training to fight the Germans. -

Operation Barbarossa was the largest land invasion in history. It was when Nazi Germany invaded Soviet Russia. Hitler had kept the Russians as untrustworthy allies but he turned on them to create lebensraum or living space for the German aryan people. The intention of the operation was to invade Soviet Russia take over and enslave the people because they were seen as inferior to the Nazis. -

Operation overlord was win in the allies invaded Normandy France in order to create a pathway to invading Germany. It was the tipping point of the war and it was when Germany‘s loss was confirmed. The invasion resulted in an allied victory but heavy casualties on both sides. -
