Battle of Bunker Hill
SourceThe Battle of Bunker Hill was fought by Major General Howe leading the British troops of the Boston garrison agaisnt General Artemus Ward and General Isreal Putnam leading the American Continental Army. The British troops had about double the troops Americans did while fighting. The British wore red coats and headgear along with muskes and bayonets. The Americans also had muskets and bayonets to battle with. The British overpowered the Americans and defreated them. -
Battle of Long Island
SourceThe Battle of Long Island was fought by the British and the American Continental Army in New York in the United States of America. Major Genreal Lord Howe was in charge of the British amry while General George Washington was in charge of the American Continental Army. Bearskin caps and red coats were wroe by the British. They both has muskets and guns to fight with. The British won this battle. -
Battle of Trenton

Colonel Rahl was the leader of the British and General George Washington was the leader of the Americans. The Americans had an advantage because they had almost double the men and weapons. The hasrsh winter conditions effected the Battle because somemen would freeze to death. In the end the Americans won. -

Battle of Saratoga
On the Hudson River in New York State the Americans fought agaisnt the German and British. Major General John Burgoyne lead the British and German army while Major General Horatio Gates commanded the Americans. The British lost half their men. General Burgoyne surrendered to the Americans, causing the Americans to win the Battle of Saratoga. -
Battle of Monmouth
SourceSoure The Battle of Monmouth took place in New Jersey consiting of the British Army and German Army agaisnt the American Continental militila and troops. Major General Earl Cornwallis, Lieutenant General Sir Henry Clinton and Major General Knyphausen were incharge for the British and German Amry against General George Washington and Major General Charles Lee for the American Army. Washington attacked the Bristish/German forces first. Nobody "won" this battle, they both stopped at exhaustion. -
Battle of Capture of Savannah
SourceBritish Lieutenant Colonel Archibald Campbell was in charge of the British forces whiched lunged a attacking on the American forces defending Savannah, Georgia. The Americans took control of Savannah and the British tried to take control of it but failed miserably. In conclusion the Americans won. -
Battle of the Cowpens
SourceOn January 17th, 1781 the American loyalists and the British fought against the Americans on the border of North Carolina and South Carolina. Colonel Daniel Morgan was the General for the Mericans while Lieutenant Colonel Banastre Tarleton was incharge on the British and Germans. The Americans won. -

In North Carolina the British took on the American forces in the battle of Guildfor Court House. Major General Lord Cornwallis was the comannder of the British while Major General Nathaniel Greene was the leader for the Americans. Even though the Americans had a line of soldiers to be a blockade and more solders the British won this battle. -
Battle of Yorktown
SourceThe Battle of Yorktown took place from September 28th, 1781 to October 19th, 1781 in Virginia. The Americans and French fought as one team agaisnt the British. For the Americans General Washington commanded, Lieutenant General de Rochambeau commanded the French and Major General Lord Cornwallis took control of the British. The Americans and French had an overwhelming amount of soldiers compared to the British, which was a factor of them winning this Battle.
