    The two battles were the first military engagements in the the American revolution. The British were after the two patriots named John Hancock and Samuel Adams. Paul Revere went on his famous midnight ride and alerted the patriots that the redcoats were on the move.About 73 colonist were killed in this battle.Tension had been building for about 13 years and the colonist finally hit their breaking point on how much they could take.

    This battle consisted of a small group of colonist that came across a british garrison and looted everything in them. Shortly after this battle them same men boldly took a stand not far away and got the largest ship on Lake Champlain. This battle will be remembered by who it got lead by, Benedict Arnold.
