    - the Patriots faced almost twice as many casualties/ wounds
    - the harsh rain kept Howe from brutally ambushing Washingtons fans
    -British were forcused on New York because it is a center for communication for the northern and southern colonies

    - Americans/ French had more than twice the amount of soliders, and the British had more than 3 times the amount of captured, killed, and wounded soldiers
    - After the battle, Cornwallis met with Washington claiming illness, and surrendered
