Pearl Harbor
The attack on Pearl Habor was a suprise attack on the United States Military base, by the Jappense. After this attack it lead the Untied states into war. The base was attack by 353 Jappense fighter planes, bombers and torpeo planes. All 8 US ships were badly damaged and 4 of them were sunk. 188 US aircraft were destroyed 2,402 Americans were killed, and 1,282 were injured. Japan lost 29 aircraft, 5 midget submerines, and 65 servicemen were killed or wounded. One Japan soldier was captured. -
Battle of the Philippines
The battle of the Philippines was the invasion of the Philippines by the Jappense. The defending forces outnumbered by the Jappense invaders by 3 to 2. but were a mixed force of non-combat experienced regular, natinal guard. Japan won this battle. -
Battle of Hong Kong
On the same morning as the attack of Peral Harbor forces of the Japan Empire invaded British Hong Kong and met the stiff resitance of its garrison. The result was Japan Victory. -

Battle of the Coral Sea
In attempt to strenghten their defensive positing for their empire in the south pacific, Jappanses to invade Port Morsbey in New Guninea and Tulagi in the southerneast Soloman Islands. Their plan was to involve several major units of Japan's Combined Fleet, including two fleet carirrers and a light carrier to provide air cover for the over all comand. The Americans won and Japan loss. -
Corregidor
The island bastion of Corregidor with its network of tunnels and its formidable array of defensive armament along with the fortifications across the enterence to Malina Bay. Jappanse had to take Corregidor as long as the island remained in American hands. Jappense won this battle for a change. But the Allied Forces came back and took it a little later. -
Battle of midway
This is one of the most important naval battles in World War II. Between 4 of june and the 7 of june only six months after Japans attack on Pearl Harbor, and one month after the Coral Sea battle. The japanese plan was to lure the United States aircraft into a trap. The Jappenese also intended to occupy Midway as part of an overall plan to extend their defensive perimeter in response to Doolittle air raid on Tokyo. The result was a Decisive American victory. -
Milne Bay
Japanese naval troops attacked the Allied forces airfield at Milne Bay that had been established on the eastern tip of New Guinea. These troops were steadily pushed back but the Austrailans brought fourth veteren Second Austrailan Imperial Force units that the Japan had not expected. Again the Allies won again, and the Jappense lost. -
Battle of Guadalcanal
This was a military camgain fought between August 7 - Febuary 9 1943. On August 7 the Allied forces landed on the islands of Guadalcanal. Supriesed by the Allied offensive the Jappense made several attempts to between August and November to retake Henderson Field. After this battle it appears that the Allied Forces won and Jappan lost. -
Battle of Saipan
This battle was fought on the island of Spain. The Allied invasion fleet embarking the expeditionary forces left Pearl Harbor the day before Europe was launched. The result of this battle was a Allied victory. -
Leyte
The Pacific campagin of World War II was the amphibious invasion of the Gulf Leyte in the Phillippiens by American and Filipino Guerrilla forces under the command of General Douglas MacAuther , who fought against the Imperial Japenese Army. Americans won! Americans a total loss of 15,584 3,504 were killed in action. Jappenese losses were 49,000 there Navy lost 26 and 46 large travlers. -
Battle of Iwo Jima
This battle was the Untied States forces fought for the island of Iwo Jima from the Jappense Empire. The Americans had a vision of capturing the entire island, including its three airfields to prepare a staging attacks on the Jappense main islands. This five week battle comprised some of the fircest and bloodeist battle. The Americans won again and Japan lost. Of the 22,000 Jappense soldiers only 216 were taken prisionor. -
Battle of Okinawa
The 82 day long battle lasted from early April until mid-June. Four divisions of the U.S Army and two Marine Divisions fought the island. Their invasion was supported by tactical air forces. This battle was a Aliied win! Japan lost 77, 166 who were either killed or they commited suicide. And for the Allies they lost 14,009.
