    They were the first battles that waged in the Revolutionary war which took place in April 1775.At the time the British were hoping to capture Sam Adams and John Hancock because of their allegations. The British knew where he was going and also needed to Lexington so they took the chance.Around 73 colonists had lost their lives on the day of the scrimish. This all began so the British can confiscate the weapons from everyone else which lead to the feud we talk about today.
