The Battle Begins
A.P Hill went to Gettysburg to collect supplies, due to complications the battle began because the Union arrived a day earlier. Hill and Ewell had outnumbered the Union and drove them back to cemetary hill. -
The Evening of The Battle of Gettysburg 1st Day
Ewell was given direct orders to attack Cemetary Hill. He was Lee's most trusted general but refused to take action. By dusk the Union had set up under the command of Hancock to extend the defense line along Cemetary Ridge, which then overnight the Union gained more people. -

In a matter of 4 days The Battle Of Gettysberg was known. Over those 4 days a lot happened during days and overnight. With the on going battle and unruly decisions The Battle of Gettysburg lead to a Victory for the Union. -
Day 2 The Union
The Union set up a strong front from Culp's Hill to Cemetery Ridge. Which was lead by Daniel Sickles. -
James Longstreet
James Longstreet was order to attack the Union as early as possible moving in from the left. Unfortunately he didn't get in position early in the day like Lee requested but got there around 4pm and opened fire on Daniel Sickles Men. Ewell was given orders to attack from the right by Culp's Hill. -
Daniel Sickles Line
Hours of blood and disaster happened on day 2 of the battle. Men were falling left and right. Sickles was seriously wounded and lost devil's den, orchard and field but was able to maintain and keep Little Round Top. -
FACT: Casulaties in 2 Days
As the two days of battle when by there was about an even amount of casualties on each side. This was the largest 2 day toll of the war. Nearly the loss of 35,000 men in two days. -
The Fall of the Confederates
By this time Lee and Longstreet realised they have failed and tried to gain back their defense line. Unfortunately there wasn't enough men and lead to defeat for the Confederates. -
The Union
Pushing back the Confederates after a seven hour battle they gained their strong postion again. -
Pickett's Charge
On Cemetery Ridge Lee made the decision to send three Divisions with artillery barrage. with George Pickett in charge. They made it to Union lines but lost many. By the end barely half of the Confederates survived. -
The Final Factor
Waiting for the counter attack Lee realises nothing is going to happen so he sends his troops back to Virgina. When he gets back he offers is Resignation but it was refused by Jefferson Davis. The North Rejoiced while the South Mourned.
