The UK’s like ummm ok i guess. Obama, just like washington, tries to solve the discrepancy with as little violence as possible. -
Obama threatened that the UK “could not count on maintaining its current economic relationship with the United States” if they continued brexit. The UK got angry at the lack of support; so now its more difficult to make a deal.

Trump wants them to directly exit the eu without an agreement so they can make a trade agreement. The UK doesn't want to take this deal- tensions are running high. Washington tried to normalize things, but Trump wants to push this new deal.
