- Led by Nathaniel Bacon against the rule of William Berkeley. -
Berkeley Retirement
- William Berkeley comes out of retirement to again gain the position in 1660.
- 14 years later he came to Virginia to settle.

The Long Assembly Convenes to build a defensive perimeter to protect Virginia from attacking Indians. Higher taxes for the Army -

Bacon captures Jamestown for a few months

Bacon published a Declaration - level charges incompetence and criminal behavior -
Jamestown Burned
-Whole city was burned, some say it was Bacon in frustration. Others say it was Berkeley supporters to deny shelter -
"Bloody Flux"
Nathaniel Bacon dies of the Bloody Flux. (The Bloody Flux is a sickness that is very infectous) Although many were coming after Bacon he had already passed before anyone had stopped him. -
The Soldiers
Soldiers arrived from England. Sent 1,000 to crush Bacon but they arrived after he was already dead. -
The Treaty
They formed a Treaty with the Indians. A formal treaty called the Treaty of Middle Plantation signed by colonists & Indians. This was used to try and stop the fighting against each other for not paying back for items they received from each other -
Berkeley & The Ending
Berkeley dies in England. And the colony in Virginia ends. After his death everything ended there was no more fighting
