Birth
On September 16, a beautiful baby girl named Abbie was brought into the world by Jay and Colleen Cleveland. She was born at 1:24 AM. She was delivered at Dell Rapids Community Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds and 9 ounces. She was 21 inches long. -
2 Months
Abbie smiled for the first time. Her mother was talking to her and she got a big smile on her face. She also started following people with her eyes recently. She enjoys watching her big brother run around with all of his energy. She is always smiling and happy. -
3 Months
Abbie really enjoys having tummy time. She can raise her head and chest while laying on her stomach. She is also starting to be able to grasp objects around her. Some of her favorite things to grasp are her blanket, her soft toys, and people's hair. She smiles at everyone that looks at her. -
4 Months
Abbie is beginning to babble. She really likes to hear herself make noise. She also laughs when people talk to her and tickle her. She can finally hold her head up all by herself. She enjoys seeing everything that is going on, especially when there are a lot of people around. -
6 Months
Abbie loves laying on the floor. She can roll from her back to her stomach. Occasionally, when she is not too tired, she can roll back to her back from her stomach. She can also move objects from one hand to the other. She enjoys playing with her toys. -
7 Months
Abbie is beginning to respond when people call her by name. She seems to be able to find many objects that are around her. She loves to lay on the floor in the middle of a bunch of toys. She is beginning to be able to stand when she has something to hold on to. She is very attentive because she does not like to miss what is going on around her. -
9 Months
Abbie can sit up without any support. She is learning to crawl. She loves being able to get around by herself. She is beginning to babble words. Some of her favorite words are "mama" and "dada". -
First Birthday
Abbie is one year old! She can walk without anyone holding onto her. She is starting to say a few words. She likes to eat without any help. She only takes an afternoon nap and sleeps most of the night.
