Coat of Arms
The Coat of Arms is an Australian symbol which has the images of a kangaroo and an emu. It is on alot of things such as the fifty cent coin. -
The Aboriginal Flag
The Aboriginal Flag represents the Aboriginal people of Australia. The black represents the people, the yellow the sun, and the red representing the people. -
The National Anthem
Up until 1973, the Australian anthem was God Save The Queen. In 1973 there was a competition held to change it. The winning song was our present anthem, Advance Australia Fair. -
National Colours
The Australian national colours are green and gold. We use them for sporting events but not on our flag. -
The National Floral Symbol
Australia's national flower or plant is the Golden Wattle. It is so, because the wattle is gold and green, the national colours. -
The Torres Strait Islander Flag
The Torres Strait flag represents the Torres Strait Islanders who live in Australia and also to the north in the Torres Strait Islands.
