In European settlement people were wanting to buy land
11 ships travelled to Australia from England because England was crowded at the time. The ships arrived in Australia at 18th January 1788. Some of the ships carried convicts who were sent from Europe to start a colony. -

A man named Edward hargraves was the first man to find the first gold nugget. The nugget was huge and precious. Once the news spread loads of people from different country's came to Australia to find Gold to bring back home for their families. The people who came to Australia had to live in tents and worn out slab huts. Most people found gold where others didn't find any. The most attracted nationality Was Asia. -
The Eureka stockade
The eureka revolution was between gold miners or diggers in Ballarat ,Victoria,Australia and the government. The gold miners were wanting to fight against them because they wanted freedom against the authority's.
