Small numbers of Japanese people begain to emigrate to Austraila in the late 1800. They were attracted by the pearl indrestury of the north. The skilled Japanese divers replaced the Indigenous Austrailan workers they have previously used. -

In the mid- 1800s, with expeditions to island Austraila at their peak, explorers and sletters found that horses and wagons were no longer suitable form of transportation so instead of horses they started using camels instead. They used camels instead of horses because camels can last longer without water than horses.,
