Birthday
I was born at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky, to Heather and Clifford Wells of Grayson, Kentucky. Two years later, my brother Alex also would be born here. -
College Decision
I decided to further my education at Shawnee State and join the baseball program. I chose Early Childhood Education as my major because our assistant baseball coach, KW Sexton, was an elementary school teacher. He was my role model. -
High School Graduation
I graduated from East Carter High School in Grayson, Kentucky. Upon graduating I had aspirations of returning to the school district to teach. -
Intro to Education
I took my first education class at Shawnee State with professor Ryan Gamm. This class increased my interest in education and gave me time in the field, which made becoming a teacher more of a realization. -
Summer Ethics Class
After taking Ethics over the course of the summer and gaining interest in philosophy, I began to see things from different perspectives. This includes the way I view public education. I now see teaching as the most important profession in the world. -
Teaching Phonics
I enrolled in Teaching Phonics with professor Tryphina Robinson. I expect to be fully capable of teaching children to read, write, and spell after completing the course assignments.
