John Dalton had a theory that all elements consisted of its own individual atoms. He believed that they would be solid balls so in his diagram he used wooden spheres. It was the first model of atoms. -
Thomson
J.J. Thomson discovered the electron. He came up with the plum pudding model. This model used blueberries to show the way that parts of an atom moved. -
Rutherford
Ernest Rutherford discovered the nucleus of an atom. He designed the gold foil experiment which explained that atoms have a tiny nucleus. -
Bohr
He came up with the Bohrs model. This model shows the way that the atom is structured. -
Schrodinger
He took the Borh's model and added more to it. He added mathematical equations to find electrons in certain positions.
