A car is a wheeled motor vehicle that we use for transportation. Before the automobile, people who lived in the city, worked in the city; and people who lived in the country, worked on farms. -

Thanks to the automobile, the growth of suburbs allowed people to live on the outskirts of the city. People was able to work in the city by commuting. Nowadays, people who live in the country can go working to the town. Cars also has led many new works, such as mechanics, city construction, state police, fast food, convenience stores, gas stations, auto shops. It also allow more employment for the world´s growing population. -

CREATION
The first automobile was named Fardier, because his inventor Nicholas Joseph Cugnot. This vapor vehicle was invented to transport heavy artillery pieces. -

VETERAN STAGE
It was in the United States and in France. In 1990, it began to become overcrowded the production of automobiles. In this stage, the first companies dedicated to the production of Panhard et Levassor, Peugeot and Ford were created. -

EDWARDIAN STAGE
In this period, the manufacturing and models of vehicles still were inspired in classical hors-carriages. The brass started to be used for bodyworks. -

This period took place between the 1st World War and the Great Depression of the 1930s. The main models were Austin 7,the Ford A and the Cadillac V-16. -

Closed cars were made from 1929 to 1949. Its style was rounder. Ford V-8 and Citröen Traction Avant emphasize. -

It´s characterized by vehicles with an efficient engine. They were safer. They produced less contamination. Some of then were: Toyota Corolla, Ford Taurus, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Peugeot 205, etc -
